Chinese athletes had collected 123 world championship and World Cup titles over 22 sports and broken 10 world records in 2007, the China State General Administration of Sport announced on January 1, 2008. Chinese weightlifters top the list of honors by winning 33 major titles, followed by Wu-Shu athletes who bagged 18 titles.
